refugees

One of our programs projects to protect teenager girls in refugee camps in overseas from getting abused and sold.
In the refugee camps the parents had no jobs, and they depend on the UN for living, and never sufficient for families what the UN offer, so some parents accept a pre-arranged marriage for their daughters to senior rich men aged between 70-90 years old for couple of thousands of Dollars, hoping that she will get better life when she leaves the refuge camp, and the teenagers give up on her future and accept this marriage hoping those couple of thousands of Dollars will help their families, but unfortunately what happened is, that those girls get abused sexually and physically and after one month or so she is back to the refuge camps needing medical help to recover from this horrific experience. My vision is to train the parents to develop skills to get a job in green environment field we will provide.

Please take a look at those three pictures.

This teenager wrote on her hand, I don’t want to get married now, I want to get education, I want to work, and I want to live.

MAFRAQ, JORDAN – DECEMBER 6: (EDITORIAL USE ONLY) In this handout image provided by UNHCR, UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie meets with refugees at the Zaatari refugee camp on December 6, 2012 outside of Mafraq, Jordan. Jolie said on her second visit to the region in three months civilians inside the country are being targeted. Many of those trying to flee are exposed to extreme danger right up to the border itself. Since her last visit to the region in September, the number of refugees in the region has increased by more than 4,000,000 and in Jordan alone by nearly 629,128.
